I made this card for today's splitcoast color challenge. I hardly ever participate in Tuesday's color challenges, but I just couldn't pass this one up. I think this really was an awesome color challenge, I've never put these colors together and they look great together. The colors for today's challenge are: Blush Blossom, Certainly Celery, and Close to Cocoa.

Since I had this flower stamp lying on my table I decided to make another card with it. I just colored my stamp with my SU markers and stamped it on my paper. Next, I assembled my card and added my ribbon treatment. My ribbon treatment is a bit different than from what I generally use, but as I was putting my card together I was going to tie my usually ribbon knot, but then I got to thinking about a thread I was reading on splitcoast. This thread was asking for different ways that you use your ribbons so I thought I should try something different and this is what I came up with.

I'm not sure how I came up with my layout, I was just digging through my paper scrap box and it sort of went from there. I tried to add some bit of Close to Cocoa paper without adding too much of it.

My sentiment is from SU's Warm Words. I've been using this set and Small Script more and more lately. I really like how well they both work with my small and large oval punches.
