I needed to make a thank you card and I thought I would give this stamp set a try.

It was a bit tricky stamping the bird image.

I guess I could have colored the bird stamp using my SU markers, but sometimes I don't like my results coloring this way, so I tried something a little different this time.

I created my bird image by first using my stamp-a-ma-jig to line everything up.  I stamped the feet by trying to only ink the feet using Chocolate Chip ink and then I stamped it onto my card stock.

Next, I inked up my stamp trying to only ink up the tail part using Pink Passion ink and then I stamped it on my card stock.

For the beak I did the same thing, I tried inking the beak using Only Orange ink and then using my stamp-a-ma-jig I was able to line up my image.  And for the bird's body (I stamped using the entire stamp this time) using Pixie Pink ink and then I cut out the body part and placed it on the bird.

So basically, I just stamped the bird in sections using my ink pads, it was really easy using my stamp-a-ma-jig to line everything up.  Then I used my Chocolate Chip marker to dot the eye and just along the top portion of my card I've added two rows of paper piercing.

Now, I'm off the get this card in the mail.  Have a great weekend!
