Hi everyone!  This is my card for this week's CAS-tastic challenge.  This week's challenge was to create a cas card using a button.  If you would like to play along, this week's CAS-tastic challenge can be found here.

Buttons are something that I find myself not using very often and they seem to be a popular embellishment, so I really enjoyed this challenge.

I decided to try out some of my new cuttlebug folders that my husband found for me at our local Big Lots.

I simply embossed the upper portion of my background and then I added two decorative score lines just below my embossed area.

My button is tied in along with my ribbon treatment.  First I tied my blue ribbon along my card.  Then I took a more narrow white ribbon and I tied that through the center of my button.  Once I was finished tying my ribbon through the center of my button I simply placed my button on top of my blue ribbon using a glue dot, easy peasy!

Thanks so much for stopping by!  I'm off to work on making some baked items for our local Fire company’s bazaar which starts tomorrow.  Have a great day and be sure to stop by tomorrow because I will be posting a card I made using another awesome digi image from FireCracker Designs by Pamela.

Supplies: Ribbon, Button, Cuttlebug, With Gratitude Embossing Folder, Scor-pal, Stamp-a-ma-jig- for my sentiment
