52 Christmas Card Throwdown ~ Eyelets

Good Morning!  It's time for another challenge on the 52 Christams Card Throwdown blog.  This week's challenge is an embellishment challenge and we are using eyelets.   I haven't use eyelets in such a long time, but this is a great challenge so lets dig them out and see how you can use them!

I wish I had the Stampin' Up! Peaceful Wishes stamp set, but I think the one I used is a close enough image for what I had in mind.  I decided to use red eyelets as berries on my image.

I began making my card by coloring my image using my SU markers and then stamping it onto my card stock.  Then I cut out my image using the label collection framelits and my big shot and then using my crop-a-dial I added a few of the red eyelets.  My image was then layered onto real red card stock and then using dimensionals it's layered again onto old olive card stock.
I added a strip of chocolate chip card stock (that was punched using the dotted ribbon scallop punch) behind my main image and my white background was dry embossed using my square lattice embossing folder.

To complete my card I added a small red bow and my sentiment which was layered using my oval punches.  My sentiment also has dimensionals underneath it.

I hope you liked my card using eyelets and I'm looking forward to seeing yours!  I hope you'll play along with us this week over at 52 Christmas Card Throwdown!
