I hope you all had a great weekend and a nice Father's Day holiday. Today I thought I would share the card I made for my son to give to my husband for Father's Day.

I didn't want to post this earlier because hubby reads my blog everyday and I didn't want him to see this card until yesterday. It took me about an hour to make this card. My background is embossed using my Cuttlebug and tiny bubbles embossing folder.

My sandy floor is just torn card stock, and then I stamped on it using the splatter stamp from the SU Itty Bitty Borders stamp set. The rest of my card was assembled using cut outs, die cuts, and punches. The clam, starfish, and sea shell are all from the SU stamp set Crab & Company.

The two fish are die cuts from a Cuttlebug die called 'Fish' and the seaweed is actually punched out using my Martha Stewart Branch Punch.  I punched the branches using a few different colors of green card stock and then I just glued them together to resemble seaweed.

My sentiment was computer generated and it reads- I want to be just like you when I grow up.

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a great day!
