Dynamic Duo~ Color Challenge

Good evening!  Tonight I came across a new challenge blog and I wanted to play along.  The Dynamic Duos challenge this week is a color challenge and the colors we were to use are certainly celery and pretty in pink.  We were also allowed to use a neutral color which I used for my sentiment and butterflies.

I decided to use a retired background stamp and I've never used this stamp before so it was fun to play around with a 'new to me' stamp.  I simply colored my stamp using my SU markers and then stamped it onto my card stock.  I placed my stamped layer onto a pretty in pink layer which I punched along the bottom using my scallop trim border punch.  Then I added my ribbon, added a few basic pearls and then stamped my birthday sentiment.

I hope you like my card!  I'll be back tomorrow with another card!

This is stunning, Patty! So sweet, and I love the little seed pearls in the center of the petite flowers! It's inspirational, too, as I was just saying I needed ideas for using beautiful sheets of patterned paper, or hand-stamped paper, without covering up its beauty. Thank you!!

This is gorgeous! I always admired this stamp although I never have the patience to color those elements individually! But look how beautiful your creation is!
