It's time for another Twisted Tuesday challenge.  This week's challenge is to use something clear and the twist is that we are to use one of our favorite things on our card and say what it is.

I decided to use one of my favorite stamp sets- Lovely As a Tree.  The clear items on my card are the square buttons.  I originally had another idea in mind, but then as I was looking through my button containers I found these square buttons and I thought they would make a cute window image.

I began making my card by first stamping the tree images.  Then I used my stipple brush to stipple the blue and so saffron over the trees.  Next I took some crumb cake card stock and I stamped it using my woodgrain background stamp and then using my 1" square punch I punched the four square for my window.

I also decided to make a window sill for my window and I did that using my modern label punch.  The window sill is longer than the modern label punch so basically what I did was to insert a small strip of paper into the punch and just punch one end and then turn that strip of paper around and insert it into the punch and then you can make the strip as long or as short as you want and simply punch the other end.

For my window valance I used a scrap piece of so saffron dsp and I punched the edge using my scallop border punch.  I also added two dry embossed rows towards the top of my valance just to give it that 'curtain' look.  My valance is raised up using dimensionals.

I sponged all around the edges of my window frame and window sill, I wanted to give them a distressed look.  I also sponged all along the edges of my white card stock using so saffron ink.

If you have time take a moment to visit the blogs of the other design team members to see their cards-
Thanks so much for stopping by!  I hope you liked my card today!  Have a great rest of the day!
