June 18, 2012- Swap Cards

I'm back today with a second post!  I made this card for the card swap I am currently hosting.  The was is titled going, going, gone and we were to create cards using recently retired Stampin' Up! stamp sets.  I know Halloween is a few months away, but I just love this Halloween stamp set and I was sorry to see it retire.

I followed this week's Monday Mojo sketch shown below.  I ended up turning the sketch sideways.

I simply stamped the images and then I punched them out using my square punches.  Normally I would have used my circle punches with these stamps, but today I thought I would try my square punches and I was surprised that worked!

My background is embossed using the spider web embossing folder and I didn't need to add a sentiment since there is some wording around the stamped images.

I still have one more card to make today to catch up on my 100 cards in 100 days goal so I'll be back again tonight with another card!

*card #12 out of 100 cards in 100 days goal*
