June 20, 2012

I am currently in the process of finishing up a card swap in which we were to use currently retired Stampin' Up! stamp sets and this is the second card that I made for my swap.

This was a really easy card to make and it would be perfect to make for Christmas cards this year since there really isn't any sort of technique.  It's basically just cutting the card stock and stamping.

After I inked up the tree stamp I simply wiped off the bird and then colored it using my read red marker.  I should have mentioned that this stamp set was originally a set of 2 stamps, but I cut the sentiment away from the tree image which makes stamping with this set so much easier.

My kids are waiting for me to take the swimming (it's finally start to warm up here) so I'd better run.  Have a great day!  See you tomorrow!

*card #15  out of 100 cards in 100 days goal

Stamps:  Scenic Season
Card Stock:  White, Chocolate Chip, Holly Berry Bouquet
Ink: Wild Wasabi, Chocolate Chip
