Happy Tuesday! Today I'm posting two cards that I made for yesterday's Splitcoast clean & simple challenge.
And I also made these cards for this week's CAS-tastic challenge to create a birthday card found here.
Yesterday's challenge was a sketch challenge. I love when the CAS challenges are sketch challenges, they are both my favorite challenges. This week's sketch challenge is based on this card here, mady by kmahany.
I ended up making two cards for today and I decided to use my SU 2 step bird punch for both of my cards.
I simply punched the birds, branches, and the bird's wings and then I assembled my cards. The pattern paper I used on both of my cards are both from SU and since the pattern paper is double sided, all I needed to do was to just folded the top part over (about 1/4").
I used my scallop trim border punch along the bottom of both my cards.
On my second card I ended up punching three leafy branches and my first card only has two.
I decided to make both of these cards birthday cards, I didn't realize how low my stash of birthday cards has gotten and I like to have some on hand for when I need them plus it was perfect for the CAS-tastic challenge.
Thanks so much for stopping! Have a great day, I'm off to start supper- we are having beef stew tonight. I thought it would be a great change of pace with the cooler weather we are having, plus it's easy to make.
