I wanted to use my ice cream punch again and I do make homemade ice cream in the summer time so I thought I might try this recipe next time I make ice cream.

I printed the recipe and title using my computer and they layered it onto my card stock. Then I stamped my background, punched out the ice cream cones, added my ribbon, layered my title, and assembled my page.

I used the dotted background stamp from the SU set 'Looks Like Spring' to stamp on my ice cream cones.  It helps give the cones that textured look.

Please join us for our Stamps R Us Blog challenge, everyone is welcome to play along and there's still plenty of time to submit your project.  Thanks for looking!

I realized that my recipe is a bit blurry (sorry about that), but here it is if anyone would like to save it:

1 pint of fresh strawberries
1 tbl fresh lemon juice
2 large eggs
1 cup sugar, divided
2 cups heavy whipping cream
1 cup milk
1 tsp vanilla extract

Combine strawberries, lemon juice, and 1/4 cup sugar in a mixing bowl, set aside for 1 hour.
In large mixing bowl beat eggs  until light and fluffy, about 2 min.  Gradually add 3/4 cup sugar, mixing well.  Stir in  milk and vanilla and mix well.  Add strawberries with juice and mix well.  Gently stir in whipping cream just until combined.  Pour into ice cream maker and follow manufacturer's instructions.

Great idea! I'm completely stumped as well on this month's challenge! Apparently my mojo only works on cards! Very yummy recipe card, well done!
