Good Morning!  I'm glad to be back in the swing of things and Twisted Tuesday Challenges is back from vacation!  Everyone's vacation cards were wonderful and this week Melina has a great challenge for us all.  The challenge this week found here is to create a card with a touch of purple and the twist is that we must use twine on our cards.

I began by stamping my flower images onto a scrap piece of card stock and once I had them stamped I used my spritzer tool and my SU crumb cake marker and I spritzed all over my image.  It's hard to see in my photo, but it's there and it looks neat in person.  I also used my spritzer tool over my sentiment.  To ink up my images I just tapped the flower part of my stamp in my wisteria wonder ink pad and then I carefully inked up the stem and leaves part of my stamp onto my certainly celery ink pad.  Sometimes  I think inking up a stamp this way is easier and faster than trying to color it using markers.

Next, I took a 4 1/4" x 4" piece of certainly celery card stock and using my labels collection framelits dies I cut out the center- to create a frame, or as some of you know this is the negative portion of the die cut out.  Once I had my certainly celery frame I decided to run it through my big shot using the vintage wallpaper embossing folder.

The rest of my card was just a matter of assembling it.  The small piece of wisteria wonder card stock on the right side of my card has the ends trimmed off in a V shape and that I just did with my paper snips.  Next, I wrapped some twine around it and I tied it off using a button with a small bow.

For my sentiment I wanted it to stand out a bit more that the rest of my card and a great way to do this is to layer your sentiments.  I played around with the punches I have until I got a set of punched layers that I felt worked okay together.

If you have time take a moment to see the samples from the other members of the design team!
Thanks for stopping by!  I'll be back in a little while with another card today.  Yep, that's right!  I have another card for you today :)
