Good evening!  I'm up late tonight doing some laundry and I was thinking of what card I should make for today.  I decided to pick a stamp set that I haven't used before.  You're probably going to see lots of stamps that I've never used now that I'm doing my 100 cards in 100 days challenge.

Although this card looks clean and simple it's actually pretty time consuming and it uses several techniques.  I used the masking technique to cover up the tallest daisy flower while I was sponging the background.  I used the reverse masking technique to sponge/stipple the blue oval shape.  The oval shape was made using the label collection framelits.  I took a scrap piece of card stock and I cut it out a section using the label die and that gave me a frame.  Next, I placed that die cut frame on my card front and then I was able to sponge all along the inside and since I had my flowers and leaves masked off they remained white and then I colored the leaves green.  I should note that I only masked off the tallest daisy flower.  The other two flowers were stamped and then cut out and placed on my card.

Along the bottom of my card I did some dry embossing using my perfect polka dots embossing folder.  Just above where my embossing ends I decided to add my ribbon.  I didn't add a sentiment on my card and I sometimes do that and this way I could use this card for several different occasions.

Thanks so much for stopping by!  If you have time be sure to read this post and enter for a chance to will the designer series paper that I am giving away.
