I've had this card sitting in my 'upload basket' and I was debating whether or not I wanted to post it, but here goes.

This is my first attempt using this stamp set! I love how versatile this stamp set is, I'm thinking snowflakes in the winter time and I also purchased the stamp set Little Flowers because I thought those flowers would go nicely on this tree.

The butterfly image, which I stamped using the rock n roll technique for is from SU's Hello again; as well as my sentiment.

I had help making this card because as I was stamping the tree and the flowers my 5 year old son told me that I needed to add some leaves. And after stamping the leaves, I sort of liked it. I think my son is the only 5 year old boy that knows what a stamp-a-ma-jig is.....LOL

So basically stamping my card was pretty easy. I (or should I say, we) just stamped the tree, flowers, the leaves, and finally the butterfly and my sentiment.

My main panel is layered onto certainly celery card stock (BTW- certainly celery my favorite green color, can ya tell? And I'm so glad it's not included in one of the 29 retiring colors). And lastly we added the checkered grosgrain ribbon along the top and I added the small piece of chocolate chip ribbon as an accent.

Thanks so much for stopping by! See you tomorrow!

Stamps: Season of Friendship, Hello Again- for the butterfly and sentiment

Ink: Chocolate Chip, Certainly Celery, Pretty in Pink, Only Orange, Apricot Appeal
Supplies: Ribbon, Stamp-a-ma-jig, SU Chocolate Chip marker- for coloring the butterfly's body
Technique: 2 Step Stampin, Rock N Roll- on the butterfly Pin It

This is just beautiful. I love everything about it.... the colors are so gorgeous (my favorite combination!) and your five year old is right - the leaves finish it off perfectly.
