I came across this card created by peebsmamma on splitcoast stampers and I wanted to case her card, but I didn't have the stamp set she used. Don't you hate that when you see a card you love, but you don't have the stamps to create it? Well, as I was looking through my stamps the other day I realized that the one stamp in my watercolor trio set looks very similar to the stamp in the peaceful wishes stamp set that Susan used, and so I was off to create my card.
The sketch/layout was from a previous challenge on the clean & simple stamping blog so I used the same layout and the same colors. Basically the only thing I changed was the stamps and that I added a rhinestone jewel next to my Merry Christmas sentiment.
I first stamped my image using wild wasabi ink and then using my real red Stampin' Up! marker I added a few red dots around my stamped image.
This would be a perfect card for sending out to friends and family this year since it's relatively flat and it wouldn't need extra postage. Thanks so much for stopping by! If you ever have any questions feel free to send me an email. You will find my email address at the bottom of this post.
