Hi everyone!  I had this card in my mind since I saw this week's MoJo sketch challenge.  At first I thought I wouldn't be able to do anything with the sketch, but once I got started with my card it sort of all came together.

I also made my card for the Scraplicious challenge which was flower power and we were to make our creations with a flowery theme.  I also made this card for the Always Crafting challenge in which we were to use yellow on our cards.  I figured yellow and purple would make a bright, bold card- which it did!  It's really bright in person.

I actually had these daisies already cut out and they were lying on my crafting table so I decided to use them.  I ended up using 4 total cut outs.  I have two of the larger daisies and then in the center I have two of the medium size daisies.  I rounded the petals using my bond folder.  I just feel that it gives more dimension and I like the way it looks when you layer them.  I used glue to adhere the flower together.  The flower center was punched using my 3/4" circle punch and then embossed using my Perfect Polka Dots embossing folder.

My sentiment was stamped and then punched out using my word window punch.  I tied some twine around my card and I then I was able to thread my twine through my sentiment layer and I tied off the twine with a small bow.

To create my background I first punched all the squares using my 1 1/4" square punch.  TIP- I have learned over the years when I'm trying to line up punches like this I will first adhere the squares in the corners and then I begin working  inward.  It helps to keep the squares lined up and spaced nicely.  I started adhering the squares in the corners and then I went all around the outside and I finished with the inside squares.

Well, that's about it for today!  In case you didn't see it yet, I'll post the link below for the retired accessories list that Stampin' Up! made available today, be sure to check it out.  Accessories are only available while supplies last.  I'm sorry to see this daisies die on the retirint list, I love this die!

Have a great day!  I'm off to start supper and pick up some toys....that's a never ending job!
