My sister is visiting with me for a few days so I didn't have time to make a card for today. I decided to upload one of the first cards I ever made.  This card was through the mail and back again so if it looks a little worn you'll know why.

I made this card 5 years ago, it's pretty neat to see how far along I've come with my cards and even back then pink, blue, and green was one of my favorite color combos.

I stamped my flowers randomly all over my card stock and then I colored in the flower centers.

Once I was finished with my stamping I placed the three layers of card stock together and then I tore them along the bottom edges.  Then I spread out the layers and adhered them together.

Paper tearing is a great technique and I hardly do that anymore.  See 5 years ago I didn't even know what a cuttlebug was...LOL

My flower above my sentiment was punched using my Spring Bouquet flower punch.  It didn't occur to me when I was making this card that I could have just stamped another of the same flower images and then cut it out.  See I have come a long way.  I didn't even have any ribbon back then...LOL

Have a great rest of the day and don't forget to leave a comment on my stamped images blog candy post found here for a chance to win 100 SU stamped images.

I haven't torn the edges on my paper in forever! I really like the soft colors used together and the flower print, very pretty!
