July 7, 2012 ~ 52 (Christmas) Card Throwdown Sketch

Good Morning!  This is my first card as a DT member on the 52 (Christmas) Card Throwdown challenge blog.  I'm excited to be part of their team and I'm looking forward to working with everyone!  Thanks so much for having me :)

The challenge this week, found here is a sketch challenge and I posted a photo of the sketch below.  This is such a wonderful sketch and the possibilities are endless so I'll hope you join us and play along.

I stamped the ornaments and punched them out using my ornament punch and I placed them on my main, very vanilla card stock panel.  The raspberry ripple ornament is raised up using dimensionals and the entire main panel also has dimensionals under it.

For my embellishments I decided to add a small piece of ribbon just to the right of my stamped ornaments and along the top of my ornaments I added a piece of twine tied in a bow.  I also decided to add three small Rhinestone Jewels on my raspberry ripple ornament.

Hi Patty - thanks for popping in and leaving me such nice notes on my blog! I'm a bit behind in catching up with everyone this week. I love this card - everything about it - just love it! Makes me wonder why I don't use that ornament set and punch more often.
