Hi everyone! My post has to be a quick one today. My son has preschool registration this afternoon and my husband's grandmother is coming over for a visit shortly.

I wanted to share with you my card for Wednesday's Splitcoast Stampers sketch challenge. I'm still not quite sure if I'm happy with this card, but here it is. I'm thinking that I should have placed another layered on top of the certainly celery cardstock.

Anyway, my main flower image was colored using my SU markers and then stamped. I also stamped the butterfly image and then cut it out.

My background is embossed using the Birds & Swirls embossing folder. I used the ticket corner punch on each of my background corners. I wanted to brighten up my card a bit so I decided to use my white gel pen and place some dots all around my scalloped circle.

My sentiment is tiny, but I didn't want it to be large and take away from my flowers. I stamped the words horizontal rather than vertical like the image is. On the stamp the word 'mom' is actually under the words 'to my'.

Thanks so much for stopping by and have a wonderful day! Wish us luck at kindergarten registration- I have a feeling that my son won't talk to anyone, he's so very shy especially around people that he doesn't know.

Oh, I have one more thing to mention today (for those of you who read this far....LOL) I am selling my Bloomin' Beautiful stamp set. I can't sell it on Splitcoast because it's a current set, so I thougth I'd try here before eBay. Anway, I'm asking $18 plus shipping. If you are interested you will find my email address located under my profile. Just click on the email link under the contacts section.

Oh this is very pretty Patty. I really like how you added the polka dots around the edge of the scallop.

I think it is beautiful and doesn't need a thing!
