I wanted to post the two cards that I made for the CAS DT search challenges. The second challenge was to create a Monochromatic brown card using just a touch of red. The red may be an embellishment, a small part of a colored image, a small piece of cardstock, etc. We had to keep the red to a minimum.

The idea for the first card that I made came to my mind right away. I stamped the reindeer and colored it using my SU Creamy Caramel marker. I added a red craft sequin and red bead for his nose. This image is from SU's Merry & Bright stamp set.

I made the decorative paper using the snow flake stamp (from the same stamp set) and then I added some white dots using a white gel pen. It's layered on Chocolate Chip card stock and then I added some paper piercing along the top and bottom portion.

My sentiment is from SU's Sincere Salutations and my ribbon is from Offray.

This is the second challenge card that I made. I used SU's Thoughts & Prayers stamp set. I inked the stamp using Close to Cocoa ink and then I wiped off some of the leaves and I colored some of them using Real Red and Chocolate Chip SU Markers.

My sentiment is from the same stamp set, I only used part of the image. On the right hand side of my card I added some decorative score lines using my Scor-pal.

In the lower left side of my stamped image I used my paper piercing tool and I pierced a tiny bit of the corner section. For my small bit of red, I used a tiny piece of Real Red card stock and a small bit of red ribbon.

Thanks for looking and have a wonderful day!
