Happy Monday to you all! The weather here is just perfect and I'm planning on spending some time cleaning up the yard today. I love this time of year when it's not too hot or too cold and I can turn of the air conditioning and open the windows.

For my card today I decided to make another card for Today's (CAS) Clean & Simple Challenge splitcoast challenge. For today's challenge we were to make over one of our previous cards in our gallery.

I decided to make over this card from my gallery. I really wasn't happy with my earlier card, so I was glad to try and make it again. This time I only used the smaller flower, I eliminated one layer, I used white card stock, I used a different birthday sentiment, and a wider grosgrain ribbon. The ink pad colors I used were: Lavender Lace, Lovely Lilac, and Apricot Appeal.

To make my card all I did was stamp my flower image using the rock and roll technique and then I punched the flowers out using the coordinating SU Spring Bouquet flower punch. The flower stamp set I used is SU's Looks Like Spring (I always have a hard time using this set).

My sentiment is from SU's It's Your Birthday and my ribbon is from Offray. To create the score lines above and below my punched out flowers I used my scor-pal! Thanks so much for looking and have a great day! Pin It

Such pretty colors and a great layout. What a great idea to use that flower image and punch. It's a set/punch that I own but haven't used in ages. I will be case-ing this one! TFS
