After posting a few Halloween cards I figured it was time for a Christmas card.  Because it took me a little bit to do all of this coloring I decided to keep the rest of my card simple.  My image was colored using my SU markers and then I layered it onto a piece of real red card stock.  I left my background plain and unembossed, I wanted a more clean look.

My sentiment is from SU's Christmas Greetings stamp set. Last week I went crazy looking for this stamp set because I couldn't find it and I use this sentiment all the time. I ended up finding it behind one of my other stamp sets.

One more thing I wanted to mention....sometimes I receive some questions and I wanted to address why I almost always layer my card base directly onto a card rather than just creating a one layer card.

This card for example could have been a one layer card (OLC), however I really prefer not to be able to see any ribbon (eyelets, brads, etc.) from the inside of my cards and so I always layer my card fronts that have ribbon or any time of embellishments on them.

Well, I have to run. It's another busy night for us tonight. It's meet the teachers night for my older daughter and so I want to have supper ready early tonight. Have a great night and tomorrow I will be back with another card!

Stamps: Old Fashioned Christmas, Christmas Greetings
Card Stock: White, Real Red
Ink: Black Stazon
Supplies: Ribbon, SU Markers, Stamp-a-ma-jig Pin It

what patience you had for coloring this detailed image. I like how you then kept the rest of the card CAS.
