52 Christmas Card Throwdown ~ Sketch

Good Morning everyone!  This is the card I made for this week's 52 Christmas Card Throwdown blog challenge.  This week's challenge is a sketch challenge and as many of you know sketch challenges are my very favorite.  Here is a photo of the sketch below-
I decided to use a stamp set that I've never used before.  This cute holiday happiness Stampin' Up! stamp set is so fun to use.  I love sets with lots of stamping and this is perfect for holiday cards.  I stamped the tree using gumball green ink and then the ornaments using raspberry ripple ink.  I didn't even use a stamp-a-ma-jig since the stamps were easy enough to line up.

The lower half of my white background is dry embossed using my square lattice embossing folder and I left the upper portion unembossed so that I could stamp the Happy Holidays sentiment on it.  It's hard to see in my photo so I wanted to point out that I added some rhinestone gems on some of the ornaments and at the top of the tree.

Thank you so much for stopping by.  I hope you have a great weekend!

Stamps:  Holiday Happiness

Such a great card! LOVE that simple tree with all the fun ornaments--and I adore the pops of color amongst all the white! :)

Love this! I've been so bad about pulling out my new in-colors. I really have to do that.
